Sleator Plant debuts as Terex Trucks’ Northern Ireland dealership at the Balmoral Show in Belfast, Ireland, exhibiting a TA300 articulated dump truck.
Terex Trucks has appointed Sleator Plant, based in Newtownabbey, as its official dealer of rigid and articulated dump trucks in Northern Ireland.
Sleator Plant is part of the Ballyvesey Holding group, which was established in 1970. The company specialises in the supply of machinery to the construction and material rehandling sectors. As part of the Ballyvesey Holding group, Sleator Plant has a strong partnership with sister company TDL, a key Terex Trucks dealer in the UK.
“We are determined to offer the very best range of products and provide the highest standard of aftercare for our customers. To that end, we are delighted to have been appointed the Terex Trucks dealership for Northern Ireland to complement our existing product portfolio,” said Jonathan Campbell, general manager of Sleator Plant. “We have seen the success that our sister company, TDL, has enjoyed with Terex Trucks and we have the same ambition and drive to achieve similar results in an improving market.”
Sleator Plant is a regular exhibitor at the Balmoral Show 2015 in Belfast, and this year had the opportunity to showcase its new partnership with Terex Trucks with the presentation of a TA300 articulated dump truck. Over 87,000 visitors attended the show this year.
“Sleator Plant has excellent links with our customer base in Northern Ireland and has a long history with Terex Trucks products,” said Guy Wilson, Terex Trucks sales and marketing director EMEA. “The company has its own in-house finance to support the sale of Terex Trucks products and is highly respected for its high quality service and competency to support customers. It is an invaluable addition to our dealer network.”
Sleator Plant provides aftersales and product support services from its extensive facilities in Glengormley, Ireland. Visitors to Sleator Plant stand at the Balmoral trade show were presented with a range of products as a result of its product rationalisation process, which has taken place throughout the past year.
