New Financial Controller at Intercounty Truck & Van

Ballyvesey Holdings and Intercounty Truck & Van would like to welcome Steve Kidney as the new Financial Controller at Intercounty Truck & Van. Steve is based at Wellingborough and is responsible for the accounts function with a team of six. He has been in the motor trade for just over 25 years.

Steve started out in the industry working for Lex Service PLC. Where he was Management Accountant at one of their dealerships based in the middle of the Brooklands race track, which held the Rolls Royce, Jaguar and Jeep franchises. From there he moved to a Vauxhall Dealership in Luton as Financial Controller and later General Manager.

He was there for eight years before becoming Finance Director for a small independent motor group called Merritts who represented a variety of franchises including Jaguar, Vauxhall and Peugeot.

Speaking about his new role,
